To support digital transformation in the post-crisis transition, EIT Manufacturing RIS Industry 4.0 Hubs Project launched an international open call for manufacturing SMEs and start-ups from RIS countries.
The Open call aimed for proposals requesting a demonstration, testing, training, or consulting activities between manufacturing SME (“Small and Medium Enterprise“) companies in EIT RIS Countries and organizations offering Industry4.0 infrastructure.
Manufacturing companies SMEs (OEMs, production equipment suppliers), start-ups or early-stage companies that produce products and parts are main beneficiaries and can participate with one proposal to receive digital transformation services.
Service, software, or technology providers as well as consulting companies in the manufacturing domain that can offer digital transformation services may participate in up to three proposals.
Research/non-industrial legal entities (i.e. research centres, universities, Competence Centres), with relevant expertise of digital transformation, may participate in up to three proposals.
Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) may participate in up to three proposals.
Who could apply?
Manufacturing SMEs, start-ups, early-stage companies – At least one member of the consortium must be a SME in the manufacturing domain that applies for a digital transformation service.
Type of support
Seminars were organised in 6 RIS countries in local languages in interactive format of the seminars with possible hands-on presentations of state-of-the-art solutions. The seminars were recorded. A target of several companies received individual expert consultations, digitalisation plans & 7 mini-grants.
